Moon Glow

Hi there and happy Saturday to you!  I hope this Easter weekend is finding you all well.  I'm here to tell you about the current challenge we've got for you over at the CMC Copic Challenge Group.  This time it's All About Hair.  Color any image you like but it must include hair.

For my card I chose to color this Moon Glow image from Crafts and Me.  I used some new DP I got from MME and I stitched the bottom panels.  I used my Copics to color the image.  The pretty flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves are from one of my MS punches.  I added some cheesecloth and gumdrop adhesives from my stash, then added some Stickles to the image and the leaves.

Hello from Milly

Hi there and Happy Friday to you!  We've made it through another week.  Whew!  Just a quick post to share a card with you.  I've had this image colored up for a while and finally got around to putting her on a card.  This stamp is called Milly Just for You by Lili of the Valley.

I stamped her onto Cryogen White Cardstock using some Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I colored her with my Copics, although it was so long ago I couldn't tell you exactly which ones.  I've had the DP in my stash for a while and stumbled across it.  It's from Imagination Project.  I added some WOC, Recollections, and Prima flowers.  The ribbon, flower shaped brad, and rhinestones are from my LCS.  I added some Stickles to the butterfliy and her shirt, and the sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Challenges:

Sentimental Sundays - Anything Goes
Forever Friends - Lot of Flowers
Lili's Little Fairies - Spring Colors
Sketch N Stash - Sketch w/old stash (DP)

Hi again.  It's another Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  Today I'm sharing a card I made using this Poor Luvvy image.  I used the colored image, just to save a bit of time.

I also used Wendy's Get Better digital paper pack as well as one of the sentiments from the Feel Better sentiment set.  I ran the bottom panel through my sewing machine, then I grabbed some ribbon, a button, twine, and pearl adhesives that I got at my LCS.  Super quick, super easy.

Spring's a Buzz

Well, hello there!  I hope you all are enjoying a beautiful day!  We've got gorgeous weather here and I plan to enjoy a bit more of it outside.  But before I do I need to tell you about the challenge we've got for you over at the CMC Copic Challenge.  We want to see Spring Colors.

For my image I used this totally cute Cute as Can Bee digi from Digi My World.  I'm afraid the colors I chose may be a bit dark for the Spring Colors theme, but I do think they look really cute.   Of course I colored this image with my Copics.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves are from one of my Martha Stewart punches.  The cheesecloth, ribbon, button, twine, and pearl adhesives were in my stash from my LCS.  The charm has been in my stash for a while and I made the pin myself.  Finally I added some Stickles to the leaves and her flower and wings.  I just love me some sparkle.

You have until March 29th to enter, and one lucky person will win a set of digis from Digi My World.  Plus, each entry goes into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  Two chances to win if you play along with us.

Also, don't forget that Suzanne has a great online coloring class called All About Hair.  You can read more about it here.

Birthday Boy

It's me again, and it's another Delightful Thursday over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  Today I'm sharing a card I made using this great digi, Pressie Josh

I wanted to keep this card simple for a young boy and thought these papers by Basic Grey would work well.  I colored the image with my Copics (R29, R27, R24, R22/Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11/E25, E31, E50/E11, E00, E000, R20/B28, B24/YR68, YR61/E35, E33/W5, W2, W00/BG10).  I used one of my Martha Stewart punches, ran a piece of ribbon across the middle and added the Happy Birthday Sentiment digi from Digital Delights.

Flying Larry

Hey there!  So what's the weather like in your neck of the woods?  We had a cold and windy day here today.  Lots of clouds rolling in and out too.  I think we're suppose to be a bit warmer tomorrow, so that will be nice.  Anywho, it's time for another challenge over at the CMC Copic Challenge Group.  This time it's Anything Goes w/the option of using bugs, butterflies, or reptile images.

Our sponsor, Digital Delights by Louby Loo, let us each pick an image and I chose Flying Bumble Bee Larry.  Cute, huh?  I printed him onto Cryogen White Cardstock and colored him with my Copics (Y15, Y13, Y11/G24, G21, G20/C7, C5, C3/E11, E00, E000, R20/E43, E42, E41/R24/B000/BG10).  The papers are from Echo Park and I inked around the edges with some Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink.  After that I just added a ribbon from my stash.

We'd love to have you play along for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate from Digital Delights.  Plus each entry goes into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  So you've got two chances to win.  You have until March 15th to play along, so head over here to join in the fun.  And don't forget to use your Copics, ProMarkers, other alcohol markers, or colored pencils on those bug images!
