DINO-mite!

Hello again and I hope you all are enjoying your weekend.  We've got another challenge for you at the CMC Copic Challenge.  This challenge is all about Celebrations.  Color your images that celebrate something.  Our sponsor, The Pixie Cottage, gave us each an image and I chose Polkadotasaurus.

As soon as I saw this image I knew he needed to be blue and green.  Luckily I had these totally cute papers from MME that look great with it.  Of course, I colored him with Copics (BG13, BG11, BG10/G24, G21, G20/Y11, R20/W5, W2, W00).  I put some DCVW white core cardstock in one of my new embossing folders and ran it through my Cuttlebug, then sanded it down a bit.  The twine is from my LSS and the buttons were in my stash.

We would love for you to join us for the challenge.  One randomly chosen person will get a $10 gift voucher from Pixie Cottage Stamps, plus all entries go into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  Go here to join the fun.  Anyone can play along.

Challenges:

Cute Card Thursday - Animal Magic
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me - Embossing
Papertake Weekly - Sketch
Cards for Men - Texture
Kaboodle Doodles - Emboss it!

Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

He Comes "Bear"ing Flowers

Hi there everyone.  I hope this Wednesday is treating you well.  We got some storms and rain here, but we need it so I won't complain.  I've got a stamp that I'm embarrassed to say that I've had over a year and FINALLY got around to inking it up.  After coloring him (which took me no time at all) I don't know why I didn't use this stamp sooner.

This cute fella is from Motivet and I colored him with my Copics.  I just love how these papers from 7 Gypsies look with this guy; great colors, right?  The ribbon is from my LSS and the brads are from my stash.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley stamped with some Colorbox ink.  Alas, there are no Stickles on this card...shocker!  Don't worry I'm sure I'll make up for it soon.

Challenges:

Stampin' for the Weekend - Ready Teddy Go!
A Gem of a Challenge - Sketch
Papertake Weekly - A Stitch in Time

Tilda Calendar

Hello again!  I hope you all are having a wonderful week.  Only a couple of days left until the weekend!  Today I'm sharing a calendar that someone asked me to make.  I've got another one to share that you will probably see in the next day or two as well.  Here's the first one.

This is one of the first Tilda stamps that I bought last year and I just LOVE how she turned out.  I believe I will be coloring her up again, so don't be shocked if you see her again in the near future.

I have stamped her onto Cryogen White Cardstock.  The DP is Daisy Bucket Designs and a piece of DCVW white-core cardstock, which I ran through in a Cuttlebug folder and sanded.  Sweet Tilda is colored with Copics (G24, G21, G20/E13, E11, E00, R21/B97, B95, B93, B91/E25, E31, E50/E43, E41, E40/YG67, R22/BG10).  I also used my white posterboard pen to add the little dots to her cheeks.  The lace is from my LCS.  The flowers are a combination of Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima, and Recollections.  I'm so happy that I finally used these cute dragonfly brads that have been in my stash for a while.  I finished it off by adding some Stickles to her flowers.  The calendar was computer generated.

I hope you enjoy my little project that I am sharing today.
