Altered Composition Book

Hello again!  Today I'm sharing with you a mini composition book that I altered.  Here is the before picture.
And here is the after picture.
Cute, huh?  I just love how it turned out.  I think I'm gonna have to make some more of these.

I colored her with Copics (R22, R00/E13, E11, E00, R21/E25, E31, E51/Y0000, E43, Y11, W00).  Also, since I didn't have the right color for the rhinestones I took some clear ones and colored them with my BG72 marker, so they are now a perfect match!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Magolia-licious  - Altered Item
Totally Stampalicious - It's Got Wings!
Truly Scrumptious  - Clean & Simple
Cute Card Thursday - Sketch
Stampin' for the Weekend  - What a Cutie!

Also, don't forget to stop by the CMC Copic Challenge.  There are still a few days for you to get your project in, plus you've got 2 chances to win.  Check it out here.

Thanks for stopping by today!

You're a Classic

Hello again!  I'm here with another challenge over at the Color Me Creative Copic Challenge Group.  The challenge is Sepia or Black n White with a pop of color.  I'll admit that I was a bit scared when I saw this challenge.  I have never tried this before, and to be honest, I probably wouldn't have tried it had it not been for this challenge.  But being that it is a "challenge", I foraged on.  I'll tell you, the thing I love about coloring in sepia tones...I only used 4 Copics.  I don't think I've ever made a card that only used 4 Copics.  Anyway, here are your inspiration photos.

Here's my card using a digi that I got a while ago from DZ Doodles.

I printed the digi out onto Cryogen White cardstock and colored it with E71, E43, E40, and W0 Copics. The DP is from K & Co., I stitched the bottom panel, ran a ribbon across the front, and added the button and twine.

Be sure to head over to the CMC Copic Challenge for your chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design.  Remember that each entry is entered into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  One play = two chances to win!  You have until Sept. 30th to enter, just be sure to use your Copics when coloring your image.  We hope to see you play along.

Challenges:

Totally PaperCrafts - Clean & Simple
Delicious Doodles - Cute as a Button
Bearly Mine - Button It Up
Dream Valley Challenges- Buttons
Sketch N Stash  - Free Choice Sketch + stash (sketch 1, old digi)

Have a great week!

I've got two projects to share with you today, but before I do...Check it out!!!  I am so excited to be able to tell you all that I was chosen to be a guest designer over at Digital Delights!

They were kind enough to let me use their Hugging Ghosts digi, and boy what fun did I have coloring up this image. It's a cute image and super quick to color.

Tri-fold Card - Fall with CMC

Well, hello there! It's time for another challenge over at the Color Me Creative Copic Challenge Group.  This time we want to see your Fall or Halloween themed projects you've created using your Copic markers.  Our sponsor this week is The Stamp Fairy, and we were lucky enough to get to use an image from The Stamp Fairy.

For my card I used Tommy Wizard.  I think he is so cute and he was so easy to color too.  I also took up my fellow DT member, Charlene, on her challenge to try a tri-fold card.  I followed this video and was able to whip out a card pretty quickly.  If you want to try something different, give this a try.  It's quick and easy, plus it's a great way to use up some of those scraps you may have lying around.

You have until Sept. 16th to enter and the winner gets a $15 Gift Certificate to spend at The Stamp Fairy plus 1 pack of Cryogen Cardstock.  Head on over to the CMC Copic Challenge and play along.  Plus every entry gets entered into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  1 entry gets you 2 chances to win, so head on over and play along.

Holiday Wishes

Happy Monday!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  Mine was a long one, so it was extra special.  Plus, we got a bit of rain, which was much needed.  Well, I have another card with my cute Jame Bear stamp.

For my card I stamped James on some Cryogen White cardstock and colored him using my Copics (I didn't write down which ones).  I stitched the front panels, added a ribbon, the flowers with some Stickles on them, and then added some Stickles to James' hat and the falling snow.  The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Challenges:

Papertake Weekly - Sketch
Stamptacular Sunday  - The Sky's the Limit (anything goes)
