Bright and Colorful Tilda

Happy Leap Day to you all!  I hope you all are enjoying this extra day.  We've got rain here, but I won't complain because we need it.  Well, I've got another Tilda card today.

I thought I'd try the pink, orange, and white color combo for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge.  I'm too certain about it, but I had a whole pack of MME papers with these colors so I thought it would be a good chance to put some of those papers to use.

I stamped her onto Cryogen White Cardstock and colored her with my Copics (YR68, YR65, YR00/E11, E00, E000, R21/E35, E31, YR20/R85, R81, R0000/YG63/Y11/E50/W5, W2, W00).  I added some ribbon that I got from my LCS, a button and some brads from my stash, and some Pink Sorbet twine from The Twinery.

Don't forget about the challenge that we have going on over at the CMC Copic Challenge Group.  We want to see your funny cards with lots of laugh and bright, fun colors.  You have until March 2nd to enter and there is an awesome prize up for grabs.  Be sure to check out all of the details here.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Card Patterns - Sketch
Magnolia Down Under - Pink, Orange, White
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

That's it from me today.  Enjoy the rest of your day!

Alice

A, my name is Alice, I live in a palace. B, my name is Brook, I like to read a book. Well, you get the picture. I hope you all are off to a great start to the week!  We started out a bit drizzly with rain, but it looks like the sun is trying to peek through.

I hope you like the card that I am sharing today.  The image is A, my name is Alice from Mo's Digital Pencil.  It's such a cute image, it makes me smile just looking at it.

Of course it goes perfectly with my Life of the Party papers from BasicGrey.  I stitched the panels and then colored her with my Copics (B97, B93, B91, B00/E11, E00, E000, R20/E99, Y23, Y11/Y000/R29, R00/C1/W5, W2, W00/BG10).  The bigger stars are hand cut and the smaller stars are from my Marvy Country Star punch. The lace is from my LCS and the sentiment is Lili of the Valley.

Challenges:

Mo's Challenge  - Lace
BasicGrey - Wish Upon a Star (Life of the Party papers)
A Gem of a Challenge - Sketch

The Paper Shelter - Add a sentiment

That's it for me today.  Have a great week!

It was a Cinch!

Hi everyone!  Just a real quick post today.  I wanted to share a project I made with one of my newer toys.  I got a Cinch 2 for my birthday last year and have been making a few things with it.  Here are some pics of a chipboard album that I made with it.

I had so much fun making this and the Cinch was so easy to use.  Here is a closeup of the pin that I made as well.

I hope you enjoyed taking a peek at my album.  I'm sure you will be seeing more projects that are a "Cinch".

Hot Mamas!

Well, it's Monday again.  I hope you all made it through the weekend ok.  I'm back with another challenge from the CMC Copic Challenge group.  We want lots of laughs and bright, fun colors.  Our wonderful sponsor, I Brake For Stamps, let us pick a stamp from their Humorous Seniors line.  I colored Thelma and Louise

If these ladies didn't have the top down in their car I imagine they'd have the "Hot Mamas on Board" sign hanging in their back window.  Just a couple of girls out for a ride.  lol

Of course I used my Copics to color this image (Y15, Y11, Y0000/E11, E00, E000/BG49, BG10/E18, E99, YR23/C9, C7, C5, C3, C1/YR68, YR65/R29, R22/RV17, RV10/W5, W2, W00).  The DP is BasicGrey that I picked up at my LCS.  I also used a new Cuttlebug folder, Tiny Bubbles, that I got as a gift, and sanded the DCVW white core paper a bit. I added the ribbon and printed the sentiment from my computer.

We would love for you to place along with us.  One lucky winner will win a wonderful prize from I Brake For Stamps, plus all entries go into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  Now grab your Copics, ProMarkers, or other alcohol markers or colored pencils and join in the fun at the CMC Copic Challenge group.

Get Well Soon

Well, it's been several days since I've posted, so here goes.  Today I've got a card that I made for my local craft store, Easy As Cat Soup.  She asked for volunteers to make cards to display in her shop to show off some of the items she sells.  She gave me a sheet of some gorgeous paper from Graphic 45 and a piece of the Tim Holtz core'dinations Kraft-Core paper.  Here's my card.

Isn't that paper great?  The sentiment is from Bird's Cards.  She's got a ton of great sentiments, images, and templates.  I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink.  I used one of my MS punches on the piece that runs across the middle, although it might be hard to see the flowers I punched out.  The ribbon and button are from my stash and the buttercream twine was purchased at my LCS.  The rhinestones in the corner are from my stash as well and colored with my BG75 Copic marker.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Tuesday Throwdown - Entwined (use twine)
Crafts and Me - Distressed
Card Patterns - Sketch
Paper Sundaes - Sundae Bar (cream, blue, distressing)
Southern Girls - So Distressed

I hope you all enjoyed my card.  Tomorrow is Friday, so enjoy it and have a great weekend!

Eat Cupcakes

It's Friday once again and today's card was made for the Flourishes Noon Time Challenge.  The challenge for part 1 was to use the following Pinterest picture for inspiration.

And here is my take on the photo.

I used a sentiment that I got from Mudmaven Designs.  The paper is from TPC Studio.  I added some ribbon from my stash, using my awesome new Bow Easy to make the double loop bow.  To finish it off I added some pink rhinestones from my stash as well.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Well, with Valentine's Day just around the corner I wanted to share another card that I made.

A Bunch of Birthday Wishes

Well, it's Monday again and I've got another Tilda card to share with you.  I used this cute stamp with Tilda holding a bunch of balloons.

Okay, I have to tell you that I have wanted a Bow Easy for a long time and got one as a Christmas gift from one of my sweet blogger friends.  If you don't have one of these nifty little devices you need to get one.  I followed this video tutorial and it was a piece of cake!  On this card you will notice that I did a double loop bow.  How cool is that?!  On to the other details, I stamped her onto Cryogen White Cardstock and colored her with Copics.  My DP is from MME and I have stitched all of the panels.   Of course there is the ribbon from my stash.  The button is from the Paper Studio and the yummy Pink Sorbet twine is from The Twinery.  I added some little pearls from my stash and Stickles.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Challenges:

Colors of Love

Happy weekend everyone!  We had a cloudy and cool day with a bit of rain.  I ran some errands and finally got my haircut.  Do you all love how light your hair feels after a haircut?  My hair always feel light and fluffy right after a cut.  Once I wash it that feeling is gone, but I like it while it lasts.  Anyway, on to another challenge over at the CMC Copic Challenge Group.  With Valentine's Day just around the corner we want to see the Colors of Love!  Show us your projects using pink, red, white, and cream.

Stamp Fairy is our sponsor and they were kind enough to let us use an image.  I chose this cute little Nelly image.  Isn't she sweet?  My DP is from Deja Views and I stitched all of the panels.  Nelly is colored using Copics RV17,RV13,RV10,RV000/E13, E11, E00, R21/E25, E31, E50/W5, W2, W00/BG10.  I added some Ribbon Boutique ribbon, a brad from my stash, and some flower shaped rhinestones.  The sentiment "xoxoxoxoxoxo" is from Craft Smart and I used some Colorbox ink to stamp it.

The challenge runs until Feb. 17th and you can use Copics, ProMarkers, other alcohol markers, or colored pencils.  The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate from Stamp Fairy.  All entries will go into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  Be sure to head over to the CMC Copic Challenge group to join in the fun.

Well, it's time for the weekend!  I believe we are going to have rain all weekend, but that just means more time inside crafting!  Today I'm sharing a card using Misty from DigiStamp Boutique.

I've had these papers from Creative Imaginations for a while and I'm so happy to finally use them.  I think they are perfect with this image.  I colored the image with my Copics, added the lace and ran some ribbon through it.  I used some of my newly acquired twine on the bottom and added the brad and rhinestones.

Challenges:

Card Patterns - Sketch
Simon Says Stamp - Animal Antics
Fab 'n' Funky - Use a digi
Kaboodle Doodles - Girly

Have a great weekend!

Especially for you

I hope you all are having a great day.  We had sunshine earlier, but it's starting to cloud up a bit here.  I've made another card with this cute Ribbon Tilda stamp.

I went with some brighter colors on this card.  I just love how easy this image is to color.  The DP is from Prima and she is colored with Copics.  I stitched all of the panels, added some twine, a button, and pearls.  I added some Stickles to her dress and the string of hearts and used a Lili of the Valley sentiment to finish it off.
