Goodie Bag Toppers

Well, hi there.  It's another Delightful Thursday over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  A few weeks ago I shared some Christmas tags that I made using some cute digi toppers.  Well this time I used the toppers on some goodie bags.

I used Christmas Toppers Set 3 this time.  The ones that I used are colored, but you can also get them plain and color them yourself.  This was also a great way to use up some of my scraps of paper.  For the goodies, we coated some pretzel in chocolate and then dipped them into some crushed candy canes.  We thought that would make a nice treat.  We also got some Christmas colored hard candy as well.

Check out the Digital Delights Blog where you can see what my fellow DT members have made.  Then head over to Delightful Challenges and see what they have to share.

Challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - Anything Christmas
The Squirrel and The Fox - Christmas

Leap of Joy

Hey everyone!  Just a quick post to share a card I made with this wonderful Leap of Joy digi from Whimsy Stamps.

I made a very similar card with this same digi back in November when I was a guest designer at Whimsy Stamps and loved it so much I used the same image with the same papers.  The DP is Graphic 45 and I colored the image with my Copics.  I used my MS holly punch and added some ribbon, twine, rhinestones, a tree button, and jingle bells from my stash.  Of course, I had to add some Stickles as well.

Also, don't forget about the CMC Holiday Bash.  There are challenges each week with a chance to win some great prizes!  The Holiday Picture Seek-n-Find challenge started on Monday, so be sure to head over here to read all about it!

Challenges:

Not a Creature was Stirring....

Hello strangers!  We've got another challenge for you over at Can You Digi It?.  As you may have guessed from the title it is "Not a Creature was Stirring".  Just be sure to include an animal on your card.

For my card I used Christmas Snorkel Dog by KiniArt.  Cute, right?  I colored him with my Copics.  Then I grabbed some papers from my stash and added a bit of rik rak across the middle.  Put some Stickles on his hat and he's ready to go.  Such a cute image to color up too.

One lucky person will win a $10 gift certificate to the CYDI? Store.  So be sure to join in the fun.  I know you've got some critter stamps somewhere.  Also, be sure to head over to the CYDI? Blog to see what cute creature creations my fellow DT members have to share.

Holly Tags

Well, hi there and Delightful Thursday to you all!  That's right, it's Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  Today I used the Holly tag set (colored) for my project.

I printed out one of the tags in this set and used it on a topper for this little bag of candy for my hubby. Check out everything that you get with this set.  It comes with 4 tags plus a cute little penguin topper.  Plus, with it being pre-colored all I did was print it.  I also ran it through my Silhouette to cut it out.  So cool!

You can go to the Digital Delights Blog to see what everyone has to share then check out Delightful Challenges to see what they have planned for you there.

Thanks to YOU

Hello everyone and welcome to a special blog hop for a very special lady.... Suzanne Dean.

Today the Design Team from Suzanne's site, Color Me Creative, are hopping along to give our friend and "fearless leader" a HUGE HUG and Thanks!!!

If you've ever met Suzanne, you know 1) what a HUGE heart she has and 2) how fun, witty and TALENTED she is!!  Suzanne's site has tons of information and inspiration and WE get to help spread the word about her awesome classes by way of her bi-weekly challenges sponsored by some fabulous crafty companies!  This month Suzanne is having a month full of challenges where you can win some wonderful prizes and have some fun along the way, but we wanted to take time to thank Suzanne for all her hard work and dedication for not only us but for all the members on her site and those who are lucky enough to have attended her classes where she shares her talent and coloring tips with us all.

Suzanne is not only a pleasure to work for, but a wonderful friend with a big love for zebras!! That's right... today we are sharing our "zeebie" (as she calls them) designs dedicated to a wonderful lady who we simply say, "Thanks".  We hope you enjoy the hop and remember, the Holiday Bash at CMC is under way and you don't want to miss our on all the fun excitement and awesome prizes so be sure to stop in and enjoy the holiday spirit with us all.  You can find all the information you need HERE.

I wanted my card to stand out and be a little bit kooky, like Suzanne.  I saw this turquoise zebra print paper and thought it would accomplish both of those things.

This cute birdhouse digi is from Beccy's PlaceOf course I used my Copics to color the image (BG09, BG05, BG01/Y17, Y15, Y11/RV04, RV02/W5, W2/BG10).   It was my first time using the BG's that I used on the birdhouse.  Boy, they pack a punch don't they?  I also sponged some Antique Linen Tim Holtz ink around the edges of the image and the sentiment.  The ribbon, button, and twine are from my LCS and the sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps.  Finally, I used some Ice Stickles around the image and around the sentiment.  If you haven't tried the Ice Stickles, I highly recommend them.  Bigger, sparkle-ier (is that a word?) sparkles.

I have been on the CMC design team since day one and have enjoyed every minute of it.  The team members are wonderful and Suzanne is a great leader.  Plus, Suzanne's stories are better than any sitcom I've ever seen.  Thank you Suzanne for the fun; I have truly enjoyed it.

Now it's time for you to enjoy the rest of the hop... here's a list of participants in case you get lost on the way:

Tina Gilliland
Anary Baumgarth
Andrea Murdock
Brook Guinn (that's me)

Snow White Christmas

Hi there!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  Today I'm sharing a card with a real pretty stamp I got from Rubbernecker Stamps.

Isn't that just a pretty tree?  I made a card just like this a couple of years ago, but love it so much I wanted to make another.  I did use a different flourish stamp in the corner this time around.  I think it's a real pretty clean and simple card.

I hit it with a couple of my Copics, then sponged around the image with some Antique Linen Tim Holtz ink.  I used my snow marker on the tree.  I don't use that nearly enough.  I also ran a piece of cardstock through my swirls Cuttlebug folder.  The flourish is from TPC Studio and the sentiment is one I've had forever.

Also, don't forget to head over to the CMC Classroom for the CMC Holiday Bash!  There will be a challenge each week in December with a chance to win some wonderful prizes.  The Scavenger Hunt Challenge started today.   Be sure to check out all of the details here.

Challenges:

Sounds like fun, right?  Well, on with the show.

For my card I used this wonderful image, Bells & Holly, by A Creative Need which can be found in the Can You Digi It? store.  It's such a pretty image and took no time at all to color with my Copics (Y28, Y23, Y21, Y11/r59, R39, R29, R27, R22/YG67, G40/BG10). I just love this paper from Graphic 45 too.  Very festive.  I ran a small piece of DCWV White Core Cardstock through my Cuttlebug in my swirls embossing folder, then sanded it a bit.  The ribbon and rhinestones are from my stash and I inked around the image with some Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink.  The totally cute sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Tilda's Got a Gift

Hi there and happy Monday to you all!  I wanted to share a quick card I made with a Tilda stamp that I unearthed this weekend.

Such a cute stamp and I love that I can use it for a birthday or for Christmas.  I colored her with my Copics and used more of that Bo Bunny paper pack I got on Black Friday.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, and the ribbon and pearl adhesive are from my stash.  Oooh, and I used my handy dandy Bow-Easy to make that a double bow.  Don't know if you can tell from the picture or not, but it is sooo pretty!

Challenges:
