Happy Sunday to everyone! I hope you all are getting some wonderful weather like we are here. Perfect for watching football. I was crafting last night with the windows open and heard the leaves blowing around the driveway. I love that sound, but it also reminds me that we will be raking up all of those leaves soon.
It's time for another challenge over at the
Color Me Creative Copic Challenge group. The theme is to use Vintage & Distressed Coloring with your Copic markers. Here is your inspiration photo.
I had not tried this technique before and was not sure how it would go, but I've got to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I decided to make a calendar page instead of a card.
I think I might add a bit more "stuff" to it to fill up some of the empty space, but I love how the coloring turned out. I stamped Tilda onto Cryogen cardstock, stitched the bottom two panels (as usual), added the rhinestone swirls and then the calendar I made.
Be sure to check out the blogs of my fellow DT members, we have a few new members, and boy are they talented. I've got them linked up on the left side of my sidebar.
Please join us for your chance to win 3 Magnolia stamps of your choice from Magnolia-licious and a pack of Cryogen Cardstock. Plus each entry is entered into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to
Oozak.com. The challenge ends October 14th, just be sure to use your Copics. So head on over to the
CMC Copic Challenge and join in the fun. Anyone can play along.
