Kick Up Your Heels

Well, hello again and happy Monday to you! I'm back again with another challenge over at the Color Me Creative Classroom.  This time we would like to see you use your favorite Copic technique.  I took Suzanne Dean's CMC On the Road class and learned the feathering technique and I LOVED it!

I seem to be using orange quite a bit this year and thought I'd try this technique with orange & yellow.  I just love this color combination. Tiffany's Doodles is our sponsor and Tiffany was kind enough to let us each pick an image to use for this challenge and I knew the feathering technique would look great on this pretty Summer Dress.

Now remember, anyone can play along, plus the winner gets 10 digital stamps of their choice from Tiffany's Doodles.  But wait...that's not all...each CMC challenge entry will be entered into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com!  What do you think about that?  Not one, but TWO chances to win.  You have until July 22nd at 8:00 pm EST to get your entry in to the CMC Copic Challenge.  We'd love to have you play along!

Supplies:

Stamp: Tiffany's Doodles
Paper:  on the dot
Ink:  Copics YR68, YR65, YR20, Y11, Y000
Misc:  Ribbon, pearl accents, fabric brad, charm

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Butterfly Tilda

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all enjoying your week.  Mine is good so far, with a long holiday weekend at the end of it.  Today I'm sharing a card I made with one of my new Magnolia stamps (I think I warned you all you'd be seeing some of these stamps).  I'm really happy with how this card turned out.

I made an easel card since I haven't done one of them in a while.  I also used some of my Wild Orchid flowers, and the big blue flower is from Magnolia (all of which I haven't used in a while).  I got the butterfly a while ago at Michaels and thought it would look cute as well.

I'm really happy with how my coloring turned out.  I'm finishing up my first online class over at the Color Me Creative Classroom and I took Suzanne Dean's CMC On the Road class when she was in South Carolina recently.  I think both of those classes have helped me in terms of coloring and light source.  You can check Suzanne's schedule for upcoming On the Road classes here.  I really enjoyed the class and loved that Suzanne walks around the room and answers questions and offers help during the class.  Also, be sure to check out the summer special that Suzanne has for her online classes.  Better hurry though, because the special prices end July 15th.

And don't forget to check out the challenge over at the CMC Copic Challenge Group.  This time we want to see you color folds, pleats, or ruffles with those Copics.  Tiddly Inks is the sponsor and there is a great prize up for grabs.  Anyone can play but you can't win if you don't play, so head on over there and join in!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Just Magnolia - Butterflies
By the Cute and Girly - In the Garden
All That Scraps - In the Good 'ole Summer Time

Have a great day!!!

Supplies:

Stamp:  Magnolia Tilda

Up, Up, and Away...

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I'm back again.  I thought I'd share a birthday card I just made.  Once again I wasn't sure when I started how it was going to turn out, but I think it's pretty cute.

I used my Martha Stewart punch for the balloons, added some twine to them, and then popped a few of them up off the card.  Pretty cool, huh?  I used some star brads for the corner and ran the blue piece (white core paper) through my Cuttlebug then sanded it a bit.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Totally Papercrafts - Spots & Stripes
Birthday Sundaes - Stars & Stripes Birthday
Stamptacular Sunday  - Stars & Stripes
Sunday Sketch & Stamp - Sketch
Cards for Men - Stars

Supples:
Stamp: Penny Black
Paper:  Piggytales, DCWV White Core Cardstock
Ink:  Copics, Memento Tuxedo Black
Misc:  MS Punch, twine, brads

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope to have one more thing to share with you before the weekend, so be sure to check back.
