Christmas in May

Hello all!  I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  We had some nice, but hot, weather here today.  So it's time for another challenge over at the Color Me Creative Copic Challenge Group.  I'll admit that this one had me a bit worried, but I'm pretty happy with the results.  This challenge is all about feathers!  You can use an image that has feathers on it or create a feathered look on clothes, flowers, whatever! I had this digi and decided what better time to get a head start on my Christmas cards than May!  So here is my first Christmas card of the year.

Ok, so did I mention prizes?  No?  Well, there is not only a prize for this challenge, but also a monthly prize as well.  Each month all of the challenge entries go into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com!  Think of all of the awesome things you could get with that.

BLD Sketch Challenge

Happy Thursday to you all!  I hope you are having a wonderful week!  Mine is definitely getting better as I have been fighting a cold, and losing, but I'm finally starting to feel a bit better.  On to this week's challenge.  This is my last challenge as part of the By LORi Designs Design Team and I've really had a wonderful time playing with Lori's cute digis. This week's challenge at By LORi Designs Challenges is a sketch.

 Great sketch, right?  I thought for my last DT card I would use my very first By LORi Designs image, Lollipop Ella.  The sentiment is from the Lollipop Happy Birthday Annie digi.

Howdy!

Well, Howdy ya'll!  Happy, happy Thursday to you!  I don't know about your neck of the woods, but here we've had clouds all week long that have been keeping the sun away.  I think we should start seeing some sunshine again soon though!  Since it's Thursday you know that Lori at By LORi Designs Challenge has got another challenge in store for us.  This week's theme is "All About Boy".

CMC on the Road Classes

Just wanted to let you all know about some classes coming up.  Suzanne Dean will be traveling to North & South Carolina in June to teach her Color Me Creative Copic class.  Be sure to check the schedule on her CMC on the Road website for the dates and times.  Remember, if she doesn't get enough people to fill the class it will be canceled so don't wait to sign up...do it now!  I have heard wonderful things about her classes and can't wait until she comes to Greenville, SC.  Be sure to sign up now to reserve your spot!

CMC Copic Challenge - White

Happy Sunday to you all!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  We had some dark and cloudy skies yesterday, but today we've got lots of sun shining through.  It's time for another challenge at the Color Me Creative Copic Challenge Group.  This challenge is all about white.  Using this photo as inspiration your image should have a lot of white on it with one pop of color.

I might have "popped" a bit too much color on my card, but I'm happy with how the image turned out.

Sand in my toes

BLD Challenge

I hope you all are enjoying your Thursday so far.  Since it's Thursday you know it's time for another challenge over at the By LORi Designs Challenge blog.  This week Lori decided to change things up a bit.  No color challenge this week, we've got a great sketch to follow. 

For my card this week I used Puddle Jumper Harper.  I just love this cute image.  She also comes with a little doll as well as 2 sentiments.

Doesn't that look inviting?  For my card I used a cute image from Bugaboo Stamps.  Isn't he having fun?
