Hang in There

If you are looking for my CMC Copic Challenge post you can catch it here.

Hello again.  This will be a real quick post.  I was asked to make some cute composition books for someone and I wanted to share one with you.

The digi is called Hang in There from Whimsy Stamps and the DP is from Dream Street Papers.  I used my Copics to color this cute image (YG67, YG65, YG03/E59, E57, E55/R24, R20/G99, G94, G40/E33, E31, E50, E18, E15, E13/BG10).  I used some Tim Holtz distress ink around the edges, then I added a piece of ribbon from my stash and a few rhinestones from my stash as well.

Monster Mash

Happy Saturday to you all!  I hope you enjoyed the week.  We had some nice weather for a couple of days, then someone turned up the heat.  Well, it's time for another challenge at the CMC Copic Challenge.  We want to see you color your images using bright, fun colors.

I used this Monster Mash stamp, which comes with a sentiment.  She's so focused.  See that tongue hanging out...now that's concentration.  Anywho, I used my Momento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped her onto Cryogen White Cardstock.  The DP is from Prima and I ran a couple of the panels through my sewing machine.  I used my Copics to color her (RV06, RV04, RV02/YR23, Y17, Y15/V06, V000/Y08, Y02/R22, BG10/W5, W2, W00).  The flowers are from my most recent purchase from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearl adhesives are from my stash.

Our sponsor is Susana's Custom Art and Card Design.  One randomly chosen winner will receive a whole set of super cute monster stamps.  Plus don't forget about the monthly prize, a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  You have until Oct. 12th to play along which is plenty of time to grab your bright markers and join in the fun.  Just head over here to play along.

Challenges:

Do You Stack Up - Scallops
Sunday Sketch & Stamp - Sketch
Stampin' for the Weekend  - Feeling Floral

You're Spooktacular!

It's another Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  I made another Halloween card, this time with Wendy's Sitting Mummy and this cute You're Spooktacular sentiment.

This is such a cute digi and so easy and quick to color as well.  I colored him with my Copics (C3, C1, C00/YR68, YR65, YR61,YG67, YG63/C3/W5, W2, W00/BG10).  The Halloween papers are from the Paper Studio and the ribbon, button, and twine are from my stash.  Really super quick card to throw together.

I'd love for you to head over to the Digital Delights Blog to see what my other team members put together.  And while you're at it head over to Delightful Challenges to see what they have in store for you.

Lil' Buckaroo

Hello again.  It's Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  I wanted to share a card today that I made using Lil Billy.  I just love this digi from Digital Delights.

Isn't he just great?  I found some really cute papers to use with him as well.  I printed him onto Cryogen White Cardstock and colored him with my Copics.  Little bit of trivia:  I believe I used every "E" Copic marker that I own.  The DP is from the Paper Studio and Basic Grey.  I ran the bottom panels through my sewing machine and added the twine and button from my stash.  I also used some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink around a few of the corners.

Be sure to head over to the Digital Delights blog to see what the other DT members have to share.  And don't forget to check out what they have in store at Delightful Challenges.

Challenges:

Sketch n Stash - Sketch
Inky Impressions - For a child

Go Team Go!

Are you ready for some football!!!????  Happy football Sunday everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at the CMC Copic Challenge and we want to see you use fall colors on your image.  I enjoy football season so I decided to use this cute little Bugaboo Brats Sports Cheerleader Girl image on my card. Now the colors I used on her uniform are those of the Washington Redskins football team.  I am not necessarily a fan of theirs, but I know that our fearless CMC leader, Suzanne Dean, is.  So this card is for her.

Our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps, is one of my favorite digi stamp companies.  Jodie has some very cute and whimsical stamps for every occasion.

You might be able to see that the image is popped up from the card.  I did not cut this image out myself.  I used my handy-dandy new Silhouette Cameo to do it for me.  Totally cool feature too!  It will not only cut out various shapes, etc., but it will cut out your digis as well.  Is that cool or what?

Ok, on to my card.  I printed the image onto Cryogen White Cardstock and colored it with my Copics (R59, R39,R29, R24,R22/Y17, Y15, Y11/E11, E00, E000, R20/E25, E31, E50).  The papers are BasicGrey.  I cut out some DCWV white core cardstock with my Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles die and then ran it through one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders.  I sanded the paper down a bit to expose some of the white core center.  The ribbon and star shaped brads are from my stash. Of course I added some gold Stickles to her pom poms as well.

Our Fall Color challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps, and the winner will receive 7 digis of their choice.  Plus all entries go into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  Two chances to win, but only if you play along.  Be sure to head over here to join in the fun.

Challenges:

Totally Stampalicious - Ribbon
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Autumn Colors & Ribbon
Papertake Weekly  - Things That Make You Go Awwww!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
